Our Story

Keith Rogers, founder of Play to Measure

Keith, Play to Measure Founder

At Play to Measure, our founder, Keith Rogers, has dedicated his entire career to enhancing play opportunities for children, young people, and families. Keith's journey began with his pivotal role in the creation of Dudley's award-winning Sycamore Adventure Playground. Overseeing its initial development on a sprawling two-acre site and subsequently managing the centre for 11 years, Keith played an instrumental role in securing six national awards and numerous local accolades for the service.

Keith's early career was marked by his commitment to supporting disabled children, young people, and adults through esteemed organisations like Autism West Midlands, KIDS, and MENCAP. With over two decades of hands-on experience in facilitating play for children and young people with disabilities, Keith has honed his expertise in designing and constructing uniquely inclusive and accessible play spaces.

Together with his partner Lauren, Keith established Play to Measure, channelling his wealth of experience into creating inspired, handcrafted play environments tailored to meet the diverse play needs of your children. His passion lies in facilitating children's self-directed access to the elements and the wonders of nature, shaping spaces that are as dynamic as the children who use them. It's a commitment that guides every aspect of our work at Play to Measure, as we continue to craft spaces where play knows no boundaries.
